Nationally syndicated personal finance columnist Michelle Singletary has written about the NAHB’s nationwide poll on homeownership in a story published in today’s Washington Post (Michelle’s column). In “A Dream Not Deferred,” she writes about the poll’s results and—more importantly—asks readers to send in their opinions to her weekly Color of Money Question:

Do you think the government should have policies that make homeownership accessible to more people, including the homeowner’s tax break? NAHB is urging all members, HBA staff, home owners and anyone who would like to see the government policies that support homeownership
preserved to:

 A) Quickly write and send your response to the question to colorofmoney@washpost.com. Put “A Dream Not Deferred” in the subject line, and include your full name, city and state in your reply.

B) Spread the word to your members, colleagues and community through social media, email and your other communications channels.
