1. Inspection Trip Charge – Effective July 19, 2010
Beginning July 19, 2010, a $20 fee will be applied whenever an inspection is requested and cannot be performed due to no one home; gate or door locked; incorrect gate/lock code, etc. The purpose of this charge is to recover the costs associated with the return trip to the job site. This does not change the current correction notice (red tag) fee structure.
2. Department Lobby Hours – Effective June 14, 2010
Beginning June 14, 2010, our lobby will be closing at 4:30 p.m. to allow staff time to process late afternoon customers, input inspection request, and complete closing activities before the close of business at 5 p.m. Staff will be available to accept phone calls until 5 p.m.
3. Partial Inspections –
Projects that require partial inspections are charged $30 per inspection. These inspections will be tracked through the inspection phase and can be paid prior to final building inspection and/or CO. If you have a project that will require partial inspections, please contact the Building Department to coordinate the inspection schedule.
