HBA donates to FL. Sheriff Youth Ranch

Monday, March 22^nd at the monthly General Membership Meeting of the Hernando Builders

Association, Chris Glover, HBA Treasurer presented Chief Mike Mauer a check for the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch. The HBA Sporting Clays Tournament, held annually and this year held last February, has given a portion of their proceeds to the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch for 4 consecutive years. Chief Mauer accepted the check on behalf of Sheriff Nugent and the Sheriff’s Office. Chief Mauer, who is a volunteer Big Brother updated the HBA Members on the little brother that he spoke about at last years check presentation.  Due to donations from organizations like the HBA these young people have a chance to attend these Youth Ranches to better their lives. The HBA is proud to support local charities with donations from all our fundraising events.
