Hernando Builders Association Continuing Education 2-Day Event

The Hernando Builders Association Year of Education Program has joined with the Continuing Education Academy to offer ALL builders and contractors two days of continuing education classes. The dates of this 2 day seminar are Aug 25 and 26, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 8am to 4pm each day at the HBA office on Sunshine Grove Rd. The fee for both days for HBA members is $250. For non-members the fee is $300.

The HBA is offering tuition discounts to HBA members of $50 for each potential new member that they register and attends the two day seminar, up to 5 non-members. For non-members you can also receive a discount of $50 off the tuition if you join the HBA during the two day seminar. There are membership payment plans available for new members if requested. Breakfast and lunch both days are included in the tuition fee.

A total of 14 CE credits are needed every two years for licensing requirements. Registered license holders have until August 31st of this year to submit their credits to the state for their license renewal requirements. Certified contractors have until August 31st of 2010 but can earn their credits anytime within the two year period.
